1. What runs without asking

Two strictly-necessary cookies: one keeps you signed in, one remembers your choice on this page. The site cannot hold a login without the first. No consent is needed for these two. The law doesn't require it, and neither do we pretend otherwise.

2. What waits for your OK

Everything else, advertising and analytics included, stays completely off until you accept. Decline, and the whole site works exactly the same, minus ads. Accept, and display ads plus aggregate visit counts switch on.

3. Changing your mind

Clear your browser storage and the choice banner returns. Accept or decline again freely. No account, no penalty, no dark patterns.

4. The legal bit

We process the absolute minimum to run a free service: a login session, a consent record, and (only with permission) ad and analytics measurement. No sale of data (there is nothing worth selling), no cross-site tracking profiles. Questions welcome via GitHub.
